Located at 2130 Summit Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32503, Roger Scott Pool operates as a swim serving Pensacola in Florida. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Pensacola, courts fill up on weekday evenings and weekend mornings, especially in spring and fall, so a reservation or an early start avoids the wait. Club memberships across Florida range from a few hundred dollars a year at community swim-and-tennis clubs to initiation fees and monthly dues at full country clubs, and many clubs offer summer or trial memberships. Guests are usually welcome when accompanied by a member, and non-members can often book lessons, clinics or court time at commercial centers. Check the listing for surface, lighting, indoor courts, reservation rules and whether pickleball lines share the courts, then call ahead on holidays, when hours change.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10 am–2 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Pensacola is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Pensacola is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Every single time I have come here (3 times in the past 2 weeks) the gates are already closed and everything is shut down. Im currently sitting here at 4:30 and its closed. Why is the establishment closing way before hours? Site should be updated to say close at 4 if thats how it is every single time. Weve had raincheck tickets for two weeks but cant use them with the pool being closed EVERY TIME.

I was really hoping this would be a nice experience, but it needs some work. We mainly wanted to go for my 2 year old to be able to brush up on swim skills she learned through lessons. However, when we were in the main pool the guards told us we couldn’t have her in the pool with us unless she had a giant orange life jacket on. We asked if we could hold her the entire time or not take a hand off her, and they told us no. Keep in mind that we were there early in the morning and hardly anyone was there. It’s sad that we had to do that, as a lot of research shows that flotation devices have the opposite effect on children who are learning to swim.

I locked my keys in my car. A wonderful employee Avery helped us out. She was a god send. Great place !!

Clean environment. Very affordable for a summer activity. They have three sections for one for 5 to 8. And one for 1 to 5. And then the big pool for everyone else. The life guards are hard working and vigilant. Also to go down the water slide you are required the take a test to make sure you can swim its for safety. Highly recommend.

It's a decent public pool. Nothing fancy. Plenty of lifeguards and they do watch. The slide can have long lines, so be prepared to wait. Also, all kids have to pass a swim test prior to using the slide. Teens included. There are plenty of life vests available for free use. Various sizes are available. There are no more than 30 lawn chairs and the sun shelter has 6 wooden picnic tables for use. Float rings πŸ›Ÿ and other flotation devices are rarely permitted. It's clean because they have plenty of trash cans available. There are no food or drinks πŸ”πŸŒπŸ₯€πŸ§ƒ for sale, other than one soda machine (coke products). It's a good experience and I recommend this pool for families.
